About Me

I‘m definitely a great person to be around because I’m pretty optimistic and I love everyone that I know. Though I may be the biggest klutz in the world, I absolutely love new activities. My favorite things to do are to read ; play the guitar ; go on the computer; and talk to my friends.

Why I advocate for online safety.

It’s important for teens to advocate online safety because it totally helps to get the point across. By having teens working on this for other teens , its breaks the age barrier and can really appeal and encourage teens our age to stay safe online. I’m inspired to do this because I love helping people ; and by telling other kids my age how to stay safe online in our teenage “language” instead of being boring can really help.

Q & A

  • Are your online friendships different than your real-life friendships? How?
  • I wouldn’t say so because the people that I talk to online are people that I talk to in real-life.
  • What would you like to tell or teach your parents about the Internet?
  • That the internet isn’t the worst thing that can happen to us teenagers. While online , you just have to make sure that you don’t reveal too much info and that you know who your talking to .
  • How can you help younger siblings or kids be safer online?
  • I can inform them of simple things such as when getting a friend request on myspace or facebook , that you know who it is and know no to say bad things about people when online.
